They are not suspected to, they have been caught in consensual acts, they were caught red handed to be hypocrites. A gay person isn't a hypocrite for being gay, a gay person condemning and harming other gay people is a hypocrite.

And I suppose those who harm gay people by bullying them and publicly shaming them deserve everything that's coming to them, especially if they're doing from a hypocritical and misguided delusion of righteousness... Again missing the point. It isn't a challenge to defend oneself, it's an invitation to reflect. Less talking, more thinking.

They did not propose surgeries because no way of doing so were available until relatively recently. And your claim of a hysteria of kids being told to transition closely mirrors the claim of kids being pressured into satanic rituals and similar. It's similarly fear driven and bigoted.

But we just read that kids were indeed made to believe they had been used for satanic rituals.

There is still no good surgery available. It is a crime to pretend the surgeries work.

They used to/still say the same exact thing about kids being told to be gay.

Many gay people now say the trans thing is the new conversion therapy for gay people, as they try to convince a lot of them that they are actually another gender.

This list is going to get longer, and the consequences are going to be much worse, in the near future as more and more people leave the church.

Moderates leaving means no moderation and the jesusfreaks will feed back on each other as they become more and more extreme.

Even as their numbers dwindle the influence they have on society will grow because they act as a single bloc and are propelled by religious furor.

Holy crap:

That therapist should be stripped of their designation, and their entire client history be examined with a microscope for unprofessional conduct. I’m betting that this case is not the only skeleton in their closet.

Many people regret surgeries and similar. Should we ban knee surgery? Hip replacements? Should teenage girls be barred from breast reduction surgery?
