After watching some reviews of the Duo, I'm convinced that Steve Jobs would have never let the inner panel be matte while the outer panel was glossy. It's too inconsistent and inelegant.

it's intentional to hide the crease

I think the Duo looks great. And from the few hands on video I have seen I think the Apple presentation actually doesn't do it justice. There is no crease at all! [1] On the note on this year's keynote. I can't be the only one who feels the whole vibe of the keynote changed. This isn't Tim Cook style keynote and John Ternus wasted no time to try and changed a few things already. I can't wait for John to further shake…

It was even more American over the top Marketing which really doesn't work well in the rest of world.

We laughed out loud when they claimed "the controls on the side let you celebrate your pictures on your lockscreen more"

Yea it's nice we can put whatever picture on a phone's lockscreen. It really is. Every phone does that.

Not once have I CELEBRATED my picture tho.

Open a bottle of champagne anyone?

- where do i get a 5 inch iphone? - no seriously i dont want a 6 inch / 6.5 inch screen, any recommendations? - ok how about a 5 inch anyphone?

I was hoping a new mini would come out but it seems like modern phones are just getting bigger. Still rocking an iphone 6s which i got for exactly $1. its cheap, light, small, thin, and I dont have to worry about breaking the screen because a replacement is about 20 USD.

> I think the Duo looks great. I could not disagree more. There are 3 ways to fold a phone: 1) The trifold: A phone that folds out into a tablet. (e.g. https://consumer.huawei.com/my/phones/mate-xt-ultimate-desig... ) 2) The clam shell: a phone that folds down into a more compact form. fwiw, Apple had a PowerBook Duo line in the mid 90s, so maybe that's the reference

It's priced identical to the Samsung Fold 8. The dimensions are also close. From a visual aesthetics perspective, I prefer the square edges of the Samsung Fold 8. Eager to check out the reviews of the software capabilities of the iPhone Duo. And I'm not sure about the inner screen's selfie camera. The under-screen camera has failed in previous devices, especially for zoom calls, it was abysmal. Excited for the nano t…

I think the rounded corners of the the duo might be more comfortable to hold when open.
