/pol was made in October 2023 after a meeting between moot and Epstein. 4chan may not have been a honeypot but it’s likely that /pol was influenced heavily by Epstein/Maxwell which indicates a plausible link between/pol and Mossad aligned Intel activities at least.

The emails were from 201* not 2023.

Yeah, fat fingered it. Thanks for the correction, too late to edit.

Sure, I'll play along: It does not make you MAGA. Wearing a MAGA hat is evidence of being MAGA (or to be more accurate, of sharing MAGA beliefs), but it is not conclusive proof . In your hypothetical, the next steps would probably be interviewing your friends and family, and poring over your social media, to determine if you really identified with MAGA, or if it was a false flag deception. Supposing it was not a fals…

I am MAGA by the way and I hate all free expression. I think the government made the right move in sanctioning these groups and I hope they manage to bomb their headquarters soon.

I hope you intended your arguments to amount to yet another data point showing that the left cannot argue in good faith, because that is what you accomplished.

"Brazilian banks" were never classified as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. It is a specific designation and law that comes with 20 year prison sentences.

Are you expecting Italian banks to be classified as terrorist organizations?

If they continue to transfer money for FTOs, yes they would be.

I suspect they had plenty of notice that they were on thin ice, and had they consulted attorneys, their attorneys would certainly have advised them to stop. I know I would have. Criminal organizations tend not to care what their lawyers think around behaving well; they primarily seek them out for cover after they're already in trouble.

They may have, they may not have. Impossible to say unless and until we get more detail. If they were warned and did not listen, that was irresponsible of them due to the impact on other organizations. If they weren’t warned, the government was irresponsibly severe given the impact on legal speech and political activity. Hopefully a journalist can dig into the details beyond press releases, as I doubt that either sid…

Everyone can use Gmail, Fastmail, Protonmail, Signal, WhatsApp, or many other providers free of charge provided they follow the providers' ToS. There's no shortage of service providers out there that are open to all. People can also operate their own servers if they so choose.

The pirate bay is still up despite being taken down, is this now also a honeypot?

Is the current pirate bay even still the original, or just a mirror or someone trying to mimic the old one?

It's the original, but it's also turned to shit. There are much better piracy websites, and infinitely many ad-filled proxies.

That wouldn’t excuse an overly harsh, unannounced crackdown (if that’s what happened) that impacts uninvolved political groups. The government is free to decide how it goes about enforcement, as long as it remains within the law, but it needs to defer in the interest of protecting legal political speech, even if it is disfavored speech. This is a normative rather than a legally mandated practice, but it’s important to defer towards exercise of free political speech unless there’s an urgent reason not to do so. We don’t know either way in this case, but based on past actions of the admin, it looks like it’s just the usual “antifa” bashing.

I don’t like the radical left either, we usually just don’t get along, but they do have a right to communicate, speak, organize, and associate, just like other groups. (Yes, including the radical right, Communists, or other common boogeymen.) And they are free to choose services designed by and for political allies if they wish.

Conspiracy to commit crimes isn't protected political speech, though. If the service was primarily used by radical leftists for election campaigning, that'd be a different story. The Government claims it was for the former.

I would suggest prompting your favorite LLM about Antifa, anti-fascism and anti-capitalism, rather than advertising your naivety here. Opposition to fascism isn't centrism when fascism is broadly defined to include centrist ideas and the opposition is expressed as firebombing Tesla dealerships.

An LLM would tell me what I want to hear. It would not tell me what you think.

You see how I am right wing MAGA, but you refuse to accept that and insist I'm "the left", but also everyone you don't like who firebombs buildings is also "the left". It sounds like you actually don't care what people call themselves, and you just want to label everyone you disagree with as "the left"

In Europe?

Bad argument. If you sabotage military equipment in Europe, obviously you also indirectly lower the military potential of that army somewhere else. The planes in Europe aren’t there to be paperweights, they are either being maintained there for service or are there as a deterrent and need to be reinforced by other planes when damaged.

Bad argument. You're saying the French were wrong to sabotage Hitler's airplanes because they might've been used after the war to defend Germany from the USSR.
