I would be very interested in how you did this / where you ended up. Feels like an impossible task every time I consider it.
It's really easy if you just look for jobs elsewhere and go throw the local legal processes, which are generally all easier/better/more helpful than the 'we don't want you' USA. I have lived in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong since leaving California and have Permanent Residence now in Hong Kong and Australia.

#994This grapheneOS may be another scheme from the 'deep FBI'/'services' to get intel on the very, VERY, nasty (terrorists, human traffickers, drug cartels, child stuff, etc). If I recall properly, they did that in the past (it seemed to have worked amazingly). If so, "normal" police would not have the "keys". This would be "the compromise".
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You haven't provided any evidence.
There are videos on youtube on the previous deep FBI/services hardware tech scheme.
In this context, grapheneos looks like more just 'And Another Time...'.
In the end, it does not matter: we all know here that "information system security" is a fantasy, it does not exist. When somebody does pretend the opposite: this person wants to scam you or sell you something.

Have you lived in China or you just parrot some US propaganda? In years of living there I haven't noticed any of my Chinese family/friends being opressed in any way. And if you mean by opression that Han majority population was for decades allowed to have less children than ANY OTHER minority I agree with you...
Whether or not someone personally witnesses oppression doesn't change whether it happened.
My relatives are fine in the US but it doesn't mean ICE isn't unjustly harming people and violating their rights.

It would be cool if there's a third PIN that can wipe the unpatriotic profile whilst showing the patriotic one. So you use 1st pin for normal use, 2nd for downloading your flight details on patriot mode, and 3rd for unlocking to patriot mode whilst silently nuking unpatriotic data. Or a PIN that just nukes the data for certain apps (Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, E-mail) etc. Feds can read my Slack messages all day.

On Whatsapp, you can "Delete this message for everyone", then "Delete this message for me" and it removes the "This message has been deleted" remnant.

That’s a huge reason for electronic search but it can also be for evidence related to any other customs violation such as drugs or other contraband.

Half of Europe does, it's just that everyone talks about the US like it's a special case because those searches happen routinely. It's legal to search a phone without reasonable suspicion at airports in the UK under the Terrorism act 2000 (pre-9/11!)
UK is not europe
UK definitely is in Europe, which is not the same as the European Union. Like Switzerland for example.
