My only complaints are that Linux can be tedious, everything is just 43 commands away; it requires greater understanding of not just what the system is doing, but how it is doing it; and the documentation is written like a Wikipedia article on advanced nuclear theory. All your points are valid, and it's been a meme for a while now that the year of linux on the desktop is always next year.
HOWEVER, consider the following:
When you're on linux you're fighthing the shortcomings of the operating system (and learning stuff as you go) where as when you're on Windows/MacOS you're fighting companies actively trying to screw you over (and over and over again, always in new ways).
The question now becomes: what fight are you willing to fight?
