No, it sounds like a big red flag. Far more likely CP wasn't being logged.

The PornHub count was an external study, the Facebook count was internal. So if either is effected by internal standards not counting things, its the Facebook number.

1). I don't see why that's not controversial. It doesn't seem self-evident. If a person can fulfill the need by watching porn, then by definition, it is fulfilled. If a person finds it unfulfilling, well, such a person will be motivated to branch out and start doing something else.

2). OP claimed that regardless of whether you watch it all day for a few times a week, porn hinders you down from pursuing females. I'd argue that the latter doesn't.

3). Not forming a family doesn't mean a life spent alone. The only people I know who's determined to not ever get married, has a very active sex life and parties all the time. The idea that one can't be happy without a family is fairly outdated.

4). Addiction is a real thing, but one has to recognize that there is a wide gap between pathologically addicted to porn, and just enjoying watching porn.

The difference here is Reddit content is persistent and public. If you are in a cafe, your conversations are transient and can only be overheard by your nearest neighbor. Your cafe would have to have a bulletin board or file cabinets where descriptions of content is posted along with where you can get it.

I'm pretty sure that wouldn't last too long either.

No, he did not say that; he said “Even porn companies that feature of-age performers are highly exploitative and uncomfortably close to human trafficking”.

And why do you believe that the specific instance referenced is a problem “with the pornography industry”, rather than one with that specific company?

Crunchyroll at least needed a team of translators to create subtitles for Naruto (and other anime circa the mid 00s). That is to say: Crunchyroll may have copyrihgt-infringed upon anime, but they added value. Naruto and Shippuden never would have found a subtitled audience without that team of translators. During the illegal content days, Crunchyroll wasn't subbing the videos. Those were uploaded by dedicated fansub teams who did the actual work and CR was just another anime tube site.

I don't think it's true. It might just be my YouTube bubble, but I find many are talking about the negative side of porn: different variations of no-fap, victims of the porn industry, changes in every day sexual behavior, unrealistic sexual expectations, and the addictive nature of masturbating, these are all issues that seem to be trending.
