But all those political divisions are a result of national politics of those countries. People want higher wages, less taxes, affordable housing, more recently cheaper gas/diesel, and in the last decade (or more in some places), less foreign migrants. If no other political party will do anything about that, people are forced to vote for Alternatives (intentionally capitalized). Especially after all the anti-russian p…

Maybe it do invest. But that has about zero effect. If Russian disinformation campaigns were working, they would work in Russia as well, but that's not happening.

Because the Kremlin wants europe to take an overt action to justify mobilization. There are many better assymetric ways for europe to retaliate.

I think it's to slowly increase offenses _that won't lead to military response_. The response to each individual incident, worse than the one before, kinetic action can be delayed because "this was only a little worse than the last one". This compounds because NATO needs to act collectively to effectively act militarily (maybe Poland could go it alone).

It's European countries that are taking this strategy, any Russia sabotage is aimed at deterring this widening of the conflict - not to encourage it.

Originally Europe didn't want to supply tanks, then it was only short range missiles, then it was longer range missiles as long as they weren't used to attack targets inside Russia - now it's actively supporting doing military strikes deep into Russia, and openly talking about European boots on the ground in Ukraine ( not that they likely didn't have deniable special forces there from the beginning ).

Strategically it's not in Russia's interests at all to have a wider escalation right now - they have their hands full. Any Russia sabotage is a direct response to missiles and drones using Western technology blowing up warehouses and oil installations deep inside Russia - widening the war is not in their interest or their aim here - they are trying to deter that.

There is the wider question of whether Russia's long term goal is to take back the old soviet states bit by bit in a way that doesn't trigger a full response - but I'd argue there is already a clear red line there - and that's the Nato border.

Russia wants an excuse to justify mobilization in Russia , not in Europe.

Really? Unless they are complete morons they realize something. If you take EU governments, any random country, as a general rule government expenditures go like this: 35% pensions (usually also has some health care here) 35% social security and health care 15% education 15% everything else, roads, bridges, government buildings, ... (army is in here @ maybe 5%) They're also drowning in debt, of the non-tiny, only Ger…

The usual people revolting will be in Russia post mobilisation

Why all this farmers know so much about how to sabotage trains suddenly?

LLMs, likely.

1) That would need many people in different places doing the same question to a LLM at the same time, and them deciding to commit acts of sabotage that can't be linked to their demands as farmers, are very risky for the authors and don't bring the slightest benefit to their cause.

The only way the risk to end in jail by reckless homicide would worth the effort, is that they would had been paid for this work.

And 2) we have a much simpler explanation: Infiltrated leaders organized to direct the masses as sheep.

We had seen this in the Capitol assault (Do you remember the girl trying to sell that laptop stolen in the Capitol to Russian spies?), and in Ceuta (Moroccan police videotaped leading the immigrants), and in Barcelona ("professional rioters" experts on urban warfare coming from Germany for no reason), and every single time this things happen.

And, again, this acts require precise training, skills and moves that normal people never even achieve, but can be found in spades at FSB (or CIA, or Mossad). This farmers seem the only people in the planet so lucky as to arrange everything right at the first attempt. Every tiny detail. Zero mistakes. They should be hired to make software.

I will keep the simpler explanation.

or make it look like it was the Russians so you can get the public on board with a war against Russia?

Or make it look like you're trying to make it look like it was the Russians so you can get the public on board with a war against NATO? Bet you didn't see the uno reverso false false flag coming

Like when we claimed that the russians had sabotaged their own pipeline rather than just stop pumping gas, after Biden declared he'd blow that thing up in case of conflict, and we are still supposed to believe it was the russians?

Little by little, people are realising that Europe is at war. Politicians are trying so hard not to say it because of the implications, but there’s only so long you can keep your head buried in the sand. We’re under constant attacks from Russia… drones, sabotage, cyberattacks, propaganda campaigns derailing our elections… I’m sick of it.

Yeah, not sure why not at least being upfront about the possibility is so hard. In Spain we've had train derailments, flocks of people being directed on social media to force themselves across borders, subterfuge deluxe everywhere and what not, yet the government is mostly silent and claim it's all unrelated, but it's hard to not also see the parallels across the continent and reach your own conclusions. But then als…

finish the thought: this means you need to retaliate. You either step up and hit back, or look weak and invite further problems. random vandals -- that's just local scumbags being scumbags. These things happens, no need to start WWIII

> You either step up and hit back, or look weak and invite further problems. The latter is exactly what the western world did in 2014, and its why we have this much larger war now.

So we should attack russia, cause WW3 because you are paranoid that they might do that first?

and people who could do those things. Sure. That was a line which was crossed, and everyone knew that - including Ukraine, which is why they didn't do it until two years into the war after getting explicit permission from the governments supplying them with weapons. But that leaves us back where we started doesn't it? If it's fair game to attack civilian infrastructure which was used or could be used to make the weap…

Thousands of the first Shahed drones fired by russia at civilians in Ukraine were made in Iran. Ukraine has not attacked Iran. So you might be “pretty sure”, but to me it looks like you’re just wrong.

> Ukraine has not attacked Iran.

Lol, no, not by themselves no. But in case you didn't notice, Ukraine's most powerful ally did.

Ukraine totally would attack Iran's drone production capabilities, if they could and didn't have other options/more pressing things to do.

And the same goes for them as for Russia, you couldn't blame them for it if they did.

What's the logic? Russia sabotages NATO infrastructure, claims innocence, and this is somehow supposed to generate support for war against NATO?

> Just days after a similar (criminal) incident causing a train to derail in France From what I read, the similarity ends in “both involved trains”. This chain of attacks seems to have used short metal pipes (“Footage published by Dutch public broadcaster NOS on Tuesday showed police carrying what appeared to be metal pipes - about 1.5 metres (5ft) long”) to short a connection, making safety systems signal “there’s a…

I'm surprised people jump to Russia instead of the radical left. Left-wing environmentalist terrorists attached shunts to rail lines to short out the safety signals back in 2020 in the US [0]. Vulkangruppe has been conducting sabotage in Germany, and a 48-year-old named Daniel V was arrested on suspicion of sabotaging Germany's electrical grid because he hated fossil fuels [1]. The French had left-wing environmentali…

> Vulkangruppe has been conducting sabotage in Germany

It's important to note that AFAIK nothing in this direction has been proven. After the attack, some people claiming to be part of Vulkangruppe claimed they did the attack, but it's all just claims.

Also important to note: the Vulkangruppe's letter mentions JD Vance, but spells the name "Vans" - almost like the authors usually write/read about him in Cyrillic texts.
