That's not how ToS work though. ToS are contracts. That update was made 9/6: 5 days prior to archival and on the same day xcancel.com previously also "returned". I can find no public updates regarding Nitter project after the 9/11 archival.

Maybe X hasn't increased userbase, and nobody uses BlueSky, and there are some people on HackerNews who complain a lot about X.

I don't know, but the people that hate Elon and blame everythng on Jews are on X, whereas the people that don't aren't on Bluesky.

I do not "immensely" benefit from free access to servers that will relay public microposts. I don't think my accesses even cost X a dollar per year. I would happily step in with my own server to replace 10x or even 100x the server resources I consume if it was possible. And if it was actually expensive they should be jumping at a way to make it possible.
