Nobody has the responsibility to tell me what to do, but I sure would love some ideas because I don’t have any.

As misguided and misinformed as some of it may be, the "anti AI" and "no more datacenters" pushback in the US is actually working to some extent. Multiple states and locales have issued construction/permit moratoriums already. If you think it's a threat, help slow it down.

Comments like these I'm willing to bet are because of the Reddit sub that's bringing Redditors with drop-mic comments in here. A ton of these things, usually but not always down voted. I think when they start hitting the top it's time to find threads without any possibility of Israel, Trump or Epstein possibly being brought up. I almost miss the old new-JS-framework complaint posts.

I would take that bet, anyone can examine my comment history and see that I've been participating on this site for a decade. Regardless, this comment violates the site guidelines.

Sounds like you are thinking they just need Asimov’s laws. But I think the point is, this can easily be weaponized by somebody with the willpower to do so.

No, just that “What if I just cheat to get the treat” is also something my lovable Boxer does when I hide rewards as well.

I suppose her energy is limited but even if infinite, and with caution, I estimate the chances of a mass extinction event due to Pickle taking over the world at < 1%.

How is bringing down the whole power grid in any particular country an extinction level event? I'm pretty sure that even in the worst case scenario it would be like a month of chaos in one particular part of the world at most, hardly something that would have a long-lasting impact on the humankind's ability to survive at large. In all except the very least-developed countries in the world today, being without electricity for more than a few days would quickly result in significant lawlessness, starvation, and water shortages. So not an "extinction level event", but quite feasibly a "collapse of nation-states as we know them" event.

Heavier-than-air aircraft, yes. It is instructive to read actual contemporary arguments. Flighted birds seem to be limited in size well below human loading capacity; Helmholtz power-to-weight ratio calculations suggest that vultures are at about the size limit; birds are all muscle with very little relative carrying capacity; bird reflexes vastly outpace the reaction times available to a human operator; etc.

Please show us actual evidence from 1900 or earlier that human flight will be practical or even possible.

Birds are neither real evidence nor real at all[1].
