Hizballah and Hezbollah are different spellings of the same thing, with Hizballah probably being more accurate and the one regularly used by the US government.

Oh...the US government. That clarifies a lot...

It clarifies what, exactly? That there are a myriad of spellings for a group whose name is originally in Arabic and couldn't care at all about how we spell it? I was just correcting the person who thought it was inaccurate to use the spelling "Hizballah".

Are the Dutch more clarifying for you?

Or how about the Brits?

A worldview of "America dumb" is a boring way to go through life, especially with topics about which you clearly have a very limited understanding.

Neither the law nor common interpretation of words agrees with this. There is a significant and crucial difference between words and actions.

> There is a significant and crucial difference between words and actions.

The difference is artificial, and delusionally blinds itself to the base reality that social/political capital exists.

Again, just because there isn't a cash figure attached to that bounty, doesn't mean that a reward hasn't been attached to it in the form of social/political prestige.

Yes you are you left out the rest of the sentence: > … and an actual terrorist organization. A group is not “an actual terrorist organization”. You’re trying to say all groups committing a crime against the government are actual terrorists organizations, and they all belong to the same organization, Antifa. That’s not the case. If that’s the case then MAGA is also a terrorist organization — at least they have a clear…

> You’re trying to say all groups committing a crime against the government are actual terrorists organizations No, I only said that the ones that are committing terrorist attacks, or similarly serious vigilante violence or sabotaging critical infrastructure in groups are. Mere "crimes" aren't the same as targeting a powerplant for example.

> the ones that are committing terrorist attacks

They said Good and Pretti were domestic terrorists, they were summarily executed, so not really the line you think you're drawing. NSPM-7 makes "politically motivated trespass and civil disobedience" a terrorist act. So it's not like all you have to do to avoid being labelled a terrorist is to just not blow up a power plant. Helping someone ICE knocked down during a protest is enough.

You didn't describe any relationships. I don't think leftists are intending harm on the USA

Far leftists are quite open about how they think the USA is the evil empire and that Russian, China, Iran, ect are the "multipolar" world that they support. You must be thinking of progressives who merely want free healthcare. Sure, an average bernie fan who wants some more government programs doesn't want the USA to fail. Instead, I am talking about the campists, the far lefties, or the "tankies" that they are somet…

I don't think cooling off the empirical war machine is "harming the USA"

Really sad, and also a testament of the fact that as much as we think we try to be indipendent, eventually once somebody starts putting enough pressure on the people around you (and you turn from "a neutral customer" to "a liability") the path to isolation is very short.

Could someone point me to some background on this whole incident or write a quick one? I don't know who they are or what's going on but it seems important.

this one is a good one, in English, that I see is kept updated

What you really need to do, Americans, is start prosecuting your own war criminals. Only then will you have the moral altitude you profess to have with the rest of the world, and not until then. "Terrorist" is just this centurys' n-word - a phrase which racists cannot overtly use any more so they invented a new term to supplant it.

> prosecuting your own war criminals American here. This is a non-starter. Nobody does it. And war is a domain where leading on moral authority requires firepower to back it. We don’t agree on what does and doesn’t constitute a war crime, the term seems to cover almost all war as well as actions taken by every global and regional power in almost every military action they’ve each taken. We need reform. But pretending…

Nobody is asking you to legally ban war. Just start complying with your obligations under international law to prosecute your own local war criminals.

The USA is the worlds #1 funder of terrorism and its #1 fighter of illegal, criminal wars. Until the American people start demanding justice for the crimes for which their state is responsible, we are all going down the drain with the USA and its war criminals.

It would be great to have a direct border with Russia, and finally get rid of US troops in Europe. Would solve lots of issues and drastically increase prosperity and well-being. There's never been a Russian threat in the first place. The sustained militarization of post-WW2 Europe, i.e. NATO, the arms race and the Cold War and its world-wide proxy wars, is the result of Britain and the US pursueing their strategy of…

You're replying to a 25-day-old account that posts pro-Russian comments. Don't feed the trolls please.

You can’t do this when nobody else does, and particularly not when pretty much every act of war in the world is alleged to be a war crime by activists. In practice, all war appears to be illegal under international law. That makes the law untenable, which may be part of why it’s being ignored.

> Until the American people start demanding justice for the crimes for which their state is responsible

I agree that we need a framework limiting the U.S. military under U.S. law. But someone needs to propose something realistic.

>You can’t do this when nobody else does,

If you're going to dance around pretending to be the only world power, you have to set the example you want to see of the other 'lesser nations' which are subject to your war criminals' purposes.

>every act of war in the world is alleged to be a war crime by activists.

So what you're really saying is that warriors should always be senior to activists.

This problem runs deep.

>I agree that we need a framework limiting the U.S. military under U.S. law.

No, I'm saying that the U.S. needs to stop being a criminal nation beholden only unto itself.
