This comment makes me happy! I like to be creative, but I also like that people actually want to use my stuff. This has never ever happened before I started creating interactive maps. There are many missing items. The difficulty is to fill the map without spamming it too much.

Perhaps a heatmap at higher altitudes, when zoomed converts into specific dots?

I built this concept a few weeks ago even - not nearly as good though, I used wiki data plus LLMs for most of the data sourcing and reverse geo coding but the dataset here seems a lot cleaner.

Wikipedia as a data source is open to use for everyone which makes this project even possible. Without Wikipedia, I would have to rely on Ai generated results which is not optimal.

Thank you! I think there are many existing competitors already when it comes to maps for finding movie scenes, so none of us are unique I guess.

I try to do my own thing and hope for the best. I rely both on my own principles and standards + Feedback from the community so that it gets quality tested many many many times.

I once planned a trip to New Orleans around the various locations in the game Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. I visited spots like St. Louis Cathedral, Cemetery No. 1, Tulane University, Jackson Square, Dumaine Street, Napoleon House, and the New Orleans Police Department. I figured having a website like this would make have made that kind of thing easier, but while the game is listed on the map there doesn't seem to be any specific locations for it.

You should be happy. It is a great way to present things like this. That there are still little parts of the internet where things are not well collected makes me feel so positive that there is still work to do
