What Chutzpah you've got, born in US has the right to be a citizen of the settler state but natives cannot return and you want us all to support your Judeo-supremacist terrorist state? Take your hasbara somewhere else. Saudi, China etc are not settler states which deny equal rights to their people of certain race or ethnicity or religion, and they don't get $3 billion in aid from US for 7 million people of a preferre…

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of two national/ethnic groups having claim to the same piece of land. I accept the fact that Israel must compromise with the Palestinians, and relinquish some of the land that it has captured. I remember when this was a radical suggestion among Israelis; it is now quite mainstream, although you wouldn't know it from listening to our elected officials. To confuse this attitude w…

I wouldn't take that user seriously, he/she also claims that:

e.g. he is supporting the Syrian regime, and thinks it's all done by the CIA and not Asad's people.

From the guidelines: Please avoid introducing classic flamewar topics unless you have something genuinely new to say about them.

When the Israeli terrorists stop murdering women and children and ordinary civilians we can stop flame wars against them. Until then if you stay silent at the injustice, you are siding with the oppressor. That's from Desmond Tutu who fought South African apartheid. Guess what he's got to say about Israeli regime? He said it's worse than what they faced; there were no white-only roads in South Africa and they weren't…

I don't take you seriously, sorry, you also claim that:

I see the Hasbara police is here too (US-taxpayer funded Israeli government-paid propagandists who troll the internet to explain why they kill women and children and why they don't give equal rights to Palestinians and why they continue to occupy the 22% of the remaining land of original Palestine). What is a good place for this new startup? Maybe Al-Arakib which is a Palestinian Bedouin village where peopel have bee…

I would try to take you seriously and prove all you said above is factually wrong if you wouldn't have made this comment on another topic:

> "many of the stories trumpeted by Western and Saudi-backed media highlighting Syrian regime's brutality have turned out to be fake (or worse, some massacres blamed on regime were actually carried out by CIA-sponsored armed Syrian "rebels"). "

So you are supporting the Syrian regime, and think it's all done by the CIA and not Asad's people, or did I read it wrong?

see http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4318514

I admire the effort you put in trying to convince others with your point, but calling Israel a murderous regime and in the same time protecting Syria and saying it's all done by the CIA is not helping you make people agree with you.

If you are not being paid by someone to write this, than I don't really think you are going to make any difference in the world, the best you are doing is making sure any US company, Israeli company, or company with Jewish people in the world will not hire you as a programmer / whatever it is that you do, and if you are not a programmer or anything hacker related, than what are you doing in Hacker news besides starting flame wars?

You are no better than the "Hasbara" you call, count the number of comments you have made in a thread that was long ago removed from HN (just because of users like you who started a flame war in it).

Please go and do something productive, build something, share your code, what have you done lately that helped humanity?

Why would anyone here support a fundamentally racist, oppressive de-facto apartheid occupying state which is about to commit genocide? Especially considering the above average intelligence i presume people here to have. Israel needs to be boycotted, globally. Not supported. Not in any way. Not in the slightest.

What are you talking about when saying "about to commit genocide"? can you back it with facts? is there a secret message you intercepted? if so please let us all know so we can stop it form happening

Or do you mean a real genocide of Norway's Jewish community that Norwegians stood by and did nothing while most of them were murdered during the Holocaust?

Aren't you risking that someone from FMC Technologies is either Jewish or Israeli? Don't you think making such baseless racist claims is likely to hurt your own career?

Perhaps it's normal and popular to be anti Israeli in Norway, but if you don't provide proof to your claim that Israel is "about to commit genocide", someone might just end up filing a libel suit against you.

But I can't blame you. Reading this from Wikipedia explains things a little:

>"In 2010, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation reported that anti-Semitic attitudes were prevalent at some Norwegian schools. Teachers at schools with large shares of Muslims revealed that Muslim students often "praise or admire Adolf Hitler for his killing of Jews", that "Jew-hate is legitimate within vast groups of Muslim students" and that "Muslims laugh or demand [teachers] to stop when trying to educate about the Holocaust". Additionally that "while some students might protest when some express support for terrorism, none object when students express hate of Jews" and that it says in "the Quran that you shall kill Jews, all true Muslims hate Jews". Most of these students were said to be born and raised in Norway. One Jewish father also told that his child after school had been taken by a Muslim mob (though managed to escape), reportedly "to be taken out to the forest and hanged because he was a Jew".[53][54]"

from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisemitism_in_Norway#2010_Nor...

And since 7.5% of Oslo is Muslim (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Norway#By_county), it's not surprising that you have these opinions.

I'm questioning the ethics of having this on HN at all. I think that is absolutely within reason.

Same question I have, but on your comment, not on the topic.

This is pretty exciting for the Israeli scene. That space was long awaited and the (pre-)accelerator too. I'm looking forward to hosting events there (I'm one of the organizers of GDG Tel-Aviv). Spaces and accelerators like this, or Microsoft's in Herzelia (Starting it's second group soon) make it one of the best times to be an entrepreneur in Israel.

Ignore all the antisemitic and racist comments here, 90% of them belong to the same user, who also seems to supports the Syrian regime and claims it's not Asad bombing his own citizens but the CIA, and the other is probably from Norway if he uses the same user in twitter, linked-in etc, which will be surprising if he didn't say something completely ignorant of facts and nasty about Israel, all Jews there died in the Holocaust so there is no one left to defend the growing internal antisemitic propaganda promoted by the growing pro Palestinian immigrants.

Funny thing is that I really am for a Palestinian state and think that the settlements should stop, but I don't go and blabber all about it in HN in a low and disgraceful language.

This is ridiculous pink washing of war crimes, apartheid, murder and terror perpetrated by a colonial settler state which is the last such project in which the natives are still not allowed to return to their homes from which European settlers kicked them out in 1948. The population of Palestine was only 3% Jewish in 1905, and the UN plan gave them 55% of land in 1947 (Jewish population still 33% of total population)…

And yes, the majority of Israelis recognise that the Palestinian citizens of Israel are treated as second class citizens and yes the majority approves of it. The majority of Palestinians are of course in exile since 1948 and more since 1967 (and are in much worse situation such as the refugees who have been living in Gaza) but this poll is about those who survived the European Jewish terrorism in 1948 and ended up as…

Sorry, this is not yet Gaza where you can just drop a bomb on someone you dislike. If Israel is a start-up nation, I guess from the Zionist point of view, the newly UN recognized nation of Palestine is a nation to "shut down". Like with Netanyahu's recent shutting off of east Palestine. For daring to show that only nine countries oppose the existence of the Palestinian state - the USA, Israel, and Canada - as well as…

How typical of an antisemitic to immediately make it personal and blame a user that simply quoted the site's policy (which to remind you, is not yours to decide about) and violate the same policy by calling some poor user who has nothing to do with the topic "a Zionist."

Yes, everyone is a Zionist, the jews control the world, they kill Palestinians and use their blood to make Mazzas for Passover, we are sick of hearing it, besides being racist and antisemitic, it's boring, we hear this for thousands of years. please provide something new. that's was the purpose of that comment.

You know what? I wish you love success and prosperity and hope to God one day you'll take the time and read the facts and see how you are brainwashed with antisemitic propaganda.

No politics in HN, please.

"No politics" is like absolute zero: a state unreachable because of the nature of the universe. In fact, "no politics" is in itself a very political statement; you're calling for a libertarian foreign policy attitude by saying that it's possible to separate technology from the conditions under which it is produced and used. If it were Apple or Google enacting a murderous military occupation I don't think you'd get ve…

It's the site's policy, read it, and perhaps you won't have karma of 1 forever.

Calling Israel "apartheid" or "murderous military occupation" or "racist" is so old and boring (regardless of being racist, antisemitic and not really supported by facts nor accepted by most western world) and really doesn't fall into "evidence of some interesting new phenomenon"

Funnily, this flame comment is what took this topic off the front page, which means no one hardly reads this post anyway. So congratulations, instead of voicing your opinion in a civil way and making your point, you managed to get this topic flagged, and no one reads what you have to write.

So if you want to help the Palestinians, stop trying, you just make it worse.
