Online sites like eBay, always want to reduce their personnel costs. Dispute resolution should be a last ditch effort that exists to identify loopholes in a system that should ideally NEVER need dispute resolution.

They need to balance that cost reduction with lost revenues from the perceived worse service.

The only options on it are -1, -2 and -3

Yes, you're right, I didn't check! This never used to be the case. Now that is stupid!

I know a lot of people write it in their posting, only users with 10+ feedback.

If you do 6 you'll sell exactly 0 items. Rule number 1 for buyers: Don't pay with a money order, always use a credit card. You're only thinking about protecting yourself - but you also have to actually attract buyers.

I agree. A few other commenters suggested this on this thread, but personally I can't imagine buying anything requiring me to send a money order.
