This is not how economists think. They see the US, go "Coal mining, check. Iron mining, check, so you can make steel inside US. More than enough people, check. Oil, check. As well as 1000 other things, and mostly, the checks are there", and conclude the US could produce cheap cars. So if it makes sense or it becomes urgent enough, it will happen. Nothing is really preventing the US from doing everything itself, and d…

But how exactly does the EU promote inequality and make it harder for citizens to migrate?

By creating extra demands you have to satisfy before you can work in a different country, while excluding EU member nationals from social benefits that might allow living without work. It's not allowed to, for example, hold a job in Spain and have your pay deposited in an account in the Netherlands. Or Ireland-France. And they cannot get refugee status visas (which is why non-EU migration is so common now). You'll also be paying double taxes in most cases. And opening a bank account is tied to having a work-visa. And only a Dutch citizen can live in the Netherlands while getting benefits.

So you have to be decently wealthy now to migrate legally in the EU, going up. Which of course achieves exactly what's "needed": poor Greeks/... cannot get away from low Greek wages by simply driving to the Netherlands. Doesn't work. Wage disparities and inequality can grow and grow and grow.

Not that this is going even remotely fast enough for the EU. There is talk now about a "2-speed" EU. Meaning people from the periphery would get less rights (especially when it comes to how much weight their votes carry, but also when it comes to moving)

Companies, by contrast, can easily move to find the cheaper labor. Because, of course they can.

And, because of course, people who "cheat" by not taking benefits or jobs, just making a bit on the side and living in caravans to avoid everything, big example being the Roma, are being hunted by the authorities in 50 different ways. Problem is that mostly they're not doing much of anything wrong, so methods like forcing them through stealing their kids are used (sorry, of course I mean "protecting the kids" through youth services, excuse me, I misspoke. Protecting kids. Not kidnapping kids to pressure the parents).

Oh and it is TOTALLY unreasonable that these people are teaching their kids to directly use violence against anyone come to "help" from the state. Totally, completely, 100% unreasonable. What are you going to do though? When youth services was allowed to use violence against the kids, they massively abused that. For money. For sex. Shooting (yes, really, with a gun) kids slowly leaving the premises. Leaving "troubled" kids in an isolation cell until they commit suicide. Not called that, of course. You'd be surprised how many euphemisms youth services have for both isolation cells for children and for suicides happening on (or immediately after) their watch. Things like this[1] for example have never been named isolation cells, which is what they are, but, loosely translated "time-out room", "separation from everything", "low stimulation room", "TAVA room", "separation from incitement room", "cool down room", "sensory-friendly room", "seclusion room", "safe space" (NEVER trust or go with anyone from youth services talking about safe spaces, unless you're at least 25, and even then) and I'm sure I haven't covered even half of them)

It might not be a coincidence that POTUS wrote yesterday on Truth Social that 100% tariffs would be imposed on any country proceeding with taxing US' digital services.

> Truth Social that 100% tariffs would be imposed Didn’t he already lost that case? And, all the other countries know that.

Didn't all other countries get used to the 10% extra tariffs currently applied, though? It's pretty clear that 100% is a threat, but the previous threats didn't end up with 0% so it "worked".

27% had a bad reaction to the treatment. Name another vaccine (pre COVID definition) that has a similar statistical outcome. Pre-COVID routine vaccines have a 1/500,000 or less negative rate. Hell, even 1/10,000 would be reasonable in an emergency (should be optional at that rate though). 1/3 is not okay. That's far worse than the disease it's supposed to treat. You need to have horns and a tail to call 1/3 safe. The…

Wait, so you say that democrats killed lots of people because 1/3 of people taking Pfizer vaccine got transient, fully reversible relatively mild symptoms? That’s absolutely insane. We know perfectly well that Covid vaccines save lives - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7944975/ and even article you’ve posted shows that it’s safe. I just can’t believe that this is the point you are making. In a million years…

The Democrats killing people point is about the NIH investment in illegal research in Wuhan, covering it up, releasing it, and preemptively pardoning it, robbing the public of a fair trial and justice. You're conflating two separate points.

To the point you're ignoring, this study does not show reasonable safety. You're nuts. Death is not reversible! Scarring of heart tissue is not reversible. And nearly all conditions of COVID are also very much reversible so that's not a good comparison point in favor of the treatment anyway.

I don't get from you that you're reading in good faith.

Be a scientist. Read it critically. Poke holes in it, like you would a lab partner or a student. Remember, this was not peer reviewed! The reviewers are the researchers. The study itself doesn't meet the basic threshold for scientific rigor as it is. YOU need to review it.

This wasn't a no big deal incidence rate. Find another approved vaccine with a number that high.

You can't.

Pull the CDC data into any SQL server and see if any treatment in history has anywhere near the number of negative reactions. These are not "got a red spot" or "said ouch" incidents.

These are cases of permanent paralysis, heart attacks in unusually young patients, strokes, and death.

Just filter for those specifically and you'll see that the rate of incidence is 100s of times greater than other vaccines.

You simply can't explain that. Can you?

No, 1M Americans died with COVID. Not from COVID. I'm quoting the CDC on that. And that's a very different meaning. Anyway, that's counter to the study. And it's counter to the facts after Pfizer's study. Many people died from the vaccine. You can pull the data from the CDC like I did, and like many many others did. It's available as a SQL db. 27% negative outcomes in the study. Lines up pretty well with the CDC data…

Can you link said study, or, like, any study? Or does it mostly just exist in your mind? Regardless, this idea that the statistics of Covid were fabricated is just baloney. No, 1 million people died FROM COVID. If you have Covid and the have major lung complications and die, then Covid killed you. Right. If someone has, say, ovarian cancer that has spread to the lungs and they die of pneumonia, then they died from ov…

This is the study in question.

Can you actually read? The high number of adverse effects you mention refers to things like transient fever, numbers for myocarditis is much lower for vaccine vs covid, and for death it's much, much, much lower. I'm sorry but you hold your views only because you don't understand what you are reading. People who told you to do your own research owe you an apology - you are not capable of even reading very simple scientific article.

> Again, if this was a no big deal incidence rate, find another vaccine whith a number that high. Good luck.

But I don't care about transient fever or transient fatigue and why would anyone care?

Anyway I'm ending this discussion - you clearly have absolutely zero idea about medicine. Shame that you can't see how stupid your opinions are and feel urge to share them.

I was still writing my comment during your emotional outburst. Reinforcing stereotypes about the Left it seems.

You haven't addressed any of the research or the CDC data. And you've conflated two data sets.

You're also still ignoring the actual study to claim that the incidences reported didn't include fatalities when they did. (That number went up dramatically in the CDC data, even if it was low in the study by comparison but still insanely high when comparing other vaccines.)

I'll excuse your emotions, but I'll not excuse you for valuing them more highly than the data.

If you'll get mad and make decisions to discontinue discussion without clear understanding, then you'll just as soon make decisions that kill the public, which is why I've stopped voting left. It's YOUR behavior that reinforces for me that the left is not composed of scientists, but angry religious zealots.

So respectfully, I hope you're not a PhD, and not in politics. Based on your responses, I think you're just asking ChatGPT to summarize for you and it simply doesn't have the CDC data. Use a MySQL connector and feed it the data.

You have to download it. Did you?

Obviously not.

In effect, it did not. All it said is that the powers enumerated to those executive agencies must be more explicitly laid out by congress. But, that’s just not something that’s going to happen. So, the gap has been filled largely by executive orders.

No, that is not what it said. It said that the power to interpret Congressional statues from first principles rested with the judiciary and not with the executive. It eliminated the idea of a “gap” that executive agencies (whatever do you mean by “executive orders” in this context?) could be deferred to to fill. My goodness, this is basic stuff in this Constitutional domain.

What I’m telling you is that the executive is not using the agencies in order to push regulatory powers in practice. So, instead, excessive and obviously overreaching executive orders are being used. Which is a completely separate mechanism. Which is being used because we can no longer use the agencies in that way.

This has, in effect, diverted more power to president Trump. Not less.

Doesn’t say anything even close to what you’re saying. This source supports what I am saying, and shows the Covid vaccine is:

1. Highly effective at preventing Covid

2. As safe as other viral vaccines

America can't be trusted since the patriot act - the day I said to myself I'll never visit. And I can't trust my gov to grow some balls and say we will no longer negotiate with a senile old child raping man baby. I can't even trust any company having their workers include or upload my data to a free AI model.

>the day I said to myself I'll never visit The US is a big and beautiful country. I also dislike contemporary US politics, but don't deny yourself the experience of ever traveling there out of spite.

I traveled yo the US maybe 50 times, for different reasons (from Europe or Asia).

I never felt welcome. The only country I felt the same was Russia, and to some much smaller extent - China.

Zero chance of that happening. Europe has already largely deindustrialized and it never closed itself to China. Europe also tried to stop buying Russian oil and failed due to transshipment through India. It's really sad seeing how little so many of us Europeans understand the situation. America and China hold all the cards, Europe holds none. It makes very little that is both unique and strategic. Decades of left win…

Germany, the 3th biggest GDP country is deindustrializing right now. that def will hurt. But we still have a lot of capital left, so plenty of ways to adress the elephant in the room. Its just very weird that the current CDU doesn't has any real good ideas. USA has a certain amount of hands especially IT but otherwise? China runs circles around Europe and USA for everything else. Btw. CDU was in power for 16 years an…

CDU is not right wing in the sense the Republicans are, certainly not today's version that is subservient to the German left.
