#6Follow-up to the AWS account deletion story from last week. The author's data was recovered after an AWS employee escalated to VP level, and it turned out the instances were just stopped, not terminated.

#7I hope the author follows up with how they build out a backup system. No snark intended - it really does seem to me like an interesting set of articles especially for others who might be in a similar situation with keeping everything with one cloud provider.
I am inspired now to dump my databases and rsync the content on a schedule.

#8Re: "The Support Agents Who Became LLMs"; yes, institutionalized support is terrible almost everywhere. Partly because it costs real money to pay real humans to do it properly, so it ends up as a squeezed cost centre.
