If Apple prices an iPad Mini (wifi) at $299, there is still a reason for a person with no devices to consider a Nexus7 over an iPad Mini. I think the 7" biggest potential is school age children. It is a good size and breaking the $200 barrier makes it particularly attractive to schools.
