Then they're doing a terrible job. A few associates applied between 2-4mos ago each and never received anything beyond an acknowledgement of application.

I’m really impressed by the interesting work you’re doing. Could you share more about the interview process? I just applied and believe the role is an excellent fit for my experience and my passion for learning new things.

They are picky, I haven't heard of my peers who applied landing an interview.

Yup, same.

Freed | Software Engineers (Fullstack / AI / SRE), Tech Lead Manager | SF, NYC | https://getfreed.ai | Full-time Doctors are overworked, burnt out, and are quitting in masses. I'm head of engineering at Freed, where we combine clinician love with the latest AI tech and intense execution to create products that make clinicians happier. Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation. - Acquired…

Hi, love the problem that Freed is solving (I think my family doctor may even be using this as they asked for my permission about AI usage?) I noticed most of the positions seem to be high in years of experience required, are y'all strict on this?

Not just strict, but their interview process is high-leetcode/old-Google-style.

I wouldn't bother unless you're an ex-FAANG engineer with a hefty resume and regularly practice hard-level algorithmic problems.

We get a ton of inbound and typically only follow up when there’s a clear match to move forward. That said, I just joined the team and we’re working to improve that! Appreciate you applying and being interested in Fathom!

If you have that many candidates where you can't even answer them, Why are you here asking for more? EDIT: I’m sure you have a dozen great candidates in your resume pile you reject for a type-o or an unknown school, or something. Do a second pass.

They do it for investors to show off the hiring "activity" and company growth. Bad moves though.

I wouldn't even bother with this one.

Either 100% not hiring (they've been posting the same role for over two years now) or the post is a misdirect. I applied two years ago when it was "US remote, San Francisco/PST preferred" and was told I wasn't in the "target region" (I was in California), with no follow-up when asking for clarification. I've known associates who've applied since and they've gotten similar vague/odd rejections.
