Sent yet another application, nothing. Y’all painting the office over there?

We get a ton of inbound and typically only follow up when there’s a clear match to move forward. That said, I just joined the team and we’re working to improve that! Appreciate you applying and being interested in Fathom!

If you have that many candidates where you can't even answer them, Why are you here asking for more?

EDIT: I’m sure you have a dozen great candidates in your resume pile you reject for a type-o or an unknown school, or something. Do a second pass.

Sent an application last month. No response yet...

Thank you for applying! We send an email upon application submission acknowledging receipt which notes that we send further communications if we see a strong match. Our team reviews every application and encourage you to continue to apply for roles for which you’re a strong match. Thanks again for your interest and I’m happy to answer specific questions via email (madigan.ford@fathom.video).

All people want is a brief email saying you're not moving forward. This takes very little effort on your part and builds goodwill. It's super-important to treat all the people you don't hire with empathy and respect; they'll tell everyone about a poor experience.

and as much as hiring is "broken" the part of the process that works well is letting people out of it without ghosting them. Even dinosaurs like ADP software get that part right.
