Truly the best angle Firefox could take would be to be stronger pro user: block ads, resist fingerprinting, hide annoyances, etc.

You can achieve the same (or similar) thing with Firefox profiles. Just launch with "-p" and it'll give you a profile picker. You can have a work profile with separate extensions, bookmarks, settings, etc.

Can't believe I never heard about this. This is a life saver, I specifically installed ton of different browsers to emulate this....

Fair enough. I've never used Bitwarden or Grammarly. I used to have a lot of crashes, but they've improved in the last 6 months and I never had tabs freezing or ghost tabs, and I always have 300+ tabs open. Maybe our different use styles lead to different outcomes!

Honest question here: Could someone explain to me how Apple and Safari relate to what Google is doing?

I currently use Adguard as a content blocker for Safari on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Does this mean that Safari will also start restricting access to these ad blockers?

What boggles my mind is the fact that surely people working for Google also use Chrome. Are they not up in arms internally because of how awful the web is without ad blocker? I have the same experience as you, every time I set up a new machine or watch friends/relatives browse the web, it just blows my mind how bad the unfiltered internet is.

Is it that bad with ublock lite ?
