I keep waiting for someone to integrate data from NEON

I am curious, what would you do with this data if you had infinite resources?

I wouldn't need infinite resources, just a practical integration.

For one, I always thought it would be informative for things like game engines to have a reference point. How fast to streams typically flow in this type of environment? What tree species are even in this geo?

Where we're going, we don't need "Data Products".

I have a specific idea in mind but this is true too :) AI = Imagination!

What is your idea?

A Large Language Model + A Large Earth-data Model merged into one. Like an image model mixed with a language model. It just needs a way to understand the pattern of Life like they appear to condense the patterns of language and thought.

If anyone wants to get into flooding, I recently met the people of geosmart.space They’re selling height maps of South-Africa, primary for flooding prediction for insurance companies. Smart & friendly bunch.

do they do Southeast Asia? typhoon yagi has wrecked our homes

Maybe. They won’t be much help after the typhoon :-/
