He’s much better at giving it away when he thinks he is investing. Stuff like shorting Tesla. Hence, some traders have started to follow something called the Inverse Gates Index.

And yet in multiple interviews he says he is not in it for the money. Saying that you are not in it for the money is becoming like a fashion statement. What’s wrong in saying that you’re in it for both money and passion?

It's been a fashion statement for a long time. Every corporate "mission" is such a statement.

Generally I wouldn't gatekeep, but here, it seems apt.

You don't know that for a fact, you're speculating

Most of the stories about the firing included the fact that Altman was raising money for a chip startup from middle eastern funds.

It sounds a lot like background briefing to me...
