Not sure they've really helped themselves much with this one.

It's a terrible situation and we failed on many levels on this one. We will improve our process from here and conduct a more full post mortem.

#4For many people, there won’t be a next time. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this SaaS product for any serious work load.
Maybe once they mature their ops, I may revisit them.

I will not sugar coat this and say that failure on so many levels screams gross incompetence.

The fact that InfluxDB has been around for 9 years at this point, and raised over 100 million dollars in the process, only makes this even more baffling.
