The website is pretty much broken on Firefox on a Macbook Air M1.
You can only see the left upper 3rd of the device at the default zoom and the animation doesn't play.
You have to zoom out before it works as expected.

Are they? There have been two iPhone charge cables, and the original was the iPod charger. How many have been used by other companies? That mouse charger is ludicrous. Worst apple design ever?
The fact that there are multiple charge cables shows how good Apple is at charging.

It was supported up to Android 8, released in 2017, and then Google decided this device was obsolete and would never get the next Android release. I am done with Google hardware. I bought my dad an iPad Mini since, as a replacement, I sure it will be updated for much longer.
Google is similar to a person with ADHD when it comes to hardware and services, they are not going to be with it for very long while jumping to make another.

Wireless is usually a lot slower than plugging it in, so i suspect it'd be better on batteries rather than worse. But the best way to save your batteries is to not charge to 100%.
I wish there were standard software in Android and iOS to limit charge percentage and battery temperature during charging. It's ludicrous to me that the default behavior is plugging in your phone to a 30W ludicrously fast charger when you go to bed in the evening, where it then climbs to 100% charge and holds there while you sleep. I should be able to tell it I'd like it to reach 85% charge as of the time my alarm go…
Pixel devices do this if you have an alarm set. Despite having a Pixel device, this doesn't work for me because I use a separate alarm clock (a daylight one). Instead, I just have an old, slow charger beside my bed.

When Google originally got into the biz... with Android and earlier versions of this pixel range, the goal was to compliment search and such.
That did kind of work. Google's position is seemingly better than it would have been in a world where Apple (and msft?) dominate mobile OS.
That said... Google is still 80% ads, 10% cloud, 10% pixels. Is that 10% even profitable?
With the www increasingly decreasing and GPTs starting to eye web search's dominance as the way to access information...
Google's thousand flowers bloomed, then withered. Some came back stronger. None of them became meaningful businesses. I don't understand why.

It's not FUD. Apple has _delivered_ updates for multiple generations of devices for 5+ years. Samsung has promised to update for 4 OS versions. They haven't delivered anything yet. We'll see in 2027 if they can actually deliver.
I had Samsung s9+ in 2018 and I did have monthly security upgrades up until 2022 when I had it. Their promise was 5 years of security upgrades.
I also had the latest Android version. iirc they promised 3 years of OS upgrades

my ipad 2018 is pretty obsolete already. it can't be updated due to speed and hardware issues, and most apps won't work on the old os
