Apparently this is a trend on here now. I didn’t notice it until someone mentioned the same thing on a different thread today. Unfortunately I stopped reading dead green comments because recently they’ve been mostly trolls.

#16Honestly history has always been one of my favorite subjects and I often find myself down rabbit holes nowadays, but I had no interested in school history classes. I guess they often were just too vague and repetitive.
I'm the same. But are they worse than they were when we were in school? I don't blame the kids for doing badly or being disinterested. But why is it rapidly becoming worse?
Yeah unfortunately hard to tell. I’m not too far displaced from the “decade long” time window they discussed (though I was definitely done with 8th grade before that), but I suppose it’s hard to get a good idea unless you’re an educator who’s been in the field long enough. I wonder if possibly it has to do with attention spans. Smart phones and tangential technologies were basically established in the timeframe no? They’ve done pretty well to ruin my attention span even as an adult.
