History Scores for 8th Graders in America Plunge

Honestly history has always been one of my favorite subjects and I often find myself down rabbit holes nowadays, but I had no interested in school history classes. I guess they often were just too vague and repetitive.

Apparently this is a trend on here now. I didn’t notice it until someone mentioned the same thing on a different thread today. Unfortunately I stopped reading dead green comments because recently they’ve been mostly trolls.

I'm the same. But are they worse than they were when we were in school? I don't blame the kids for doing badly or being disinterested. But why is it rapidly becoming worse?
