ChatGPT will flood the internet with articles like how SEO was used to hack search. It might not replace search engine, but search results will becomes even more irrelevant.

I’m not sure ChatGPT is going to replace search engines, but I’m confident that it is incredibly young and will evolve considerably.
It already has replaced Google for some of my needs. If I want a simple answer to queries like: How to make a Sazarac What’s a good waffle recipe How do I change the O2 sensor on a 1982 911SC I find ChatGPT issues perfectly good answers without all of the superfluous results, words, clickbait, and ads. And for many other questions that are technical, medical, or trivial in nature I prefer its simple one-shot response…

If Google search actually searches (find articles or sites with keyword) then yes: ChatGTP or it’s successor would never replace Google search. But Google search so broken (at least for me) so it looks more like broken or badly implemented ChatGTP.
Every single time I've seen this claim made and the person shared their methodology for searching on Google, it becomes very apparent that the problem is not Google, but the user.
