Anyone know the actual rules? Is it a hard limit on the amount of power a home computer can consume, or is it something more subtle like a limit on the power when its idling?

Home built PC's are a threat to our democracy. They endanger minorities and are a National Security Threat. They must be strictly regulated and all such weapons of war must go through a 6 month delay period, 21 year old age minimum, licensing, background checks and must be registered with the federal government. Cosmetic features like RGB lighting or mice which improve targeting of the on screen cursor must be banned…

#34I've never wanted an Alienware laptop in my life, but as a resident of Oregon there is absolutely nothing more that I want right now than an illegally powerful laptop.
These aren't that powerful from a computing standpoint; They use low-end i5 11400F along with a low-end nVidia 1650 Super and have 8GB single-channel memory. Also, I think it's more about inefficiency when sleeping and idle.

how closely did the console makers work with them on that language i wonder.
Appears to cover everything from desktops up to big iron, too. chunky.
