Like most people here it's all just opinion. I'm happy someone is pushing for more innovation in Japan but ... there's huge issues (1) Japanese people generally only speak Japanese. I actually think it's a good thing for Japan that inequality hasn't reached the crazy levels that we see in some other countries. But it certainly does make it hard for Japanese companies to attract top international talent the way FAANGs can.
