Dislike with passion? There are words for that: hate, despise, disdain, detest. "Darling, I like you with passion." Innocent errors of diction are de minimis; tiptoeing heresy emboldens orthodox bigotry.

The argument from consensus is particularly weak when not averaged historically across the lives of the present generation, much less historically.
