Hey HN, looks like I was beat to the punch on posting this. :) I work on Startup School at YC. We're excited to launch our second-ever build sprint. You can think of a build sprint as sort of like a 4-week hackathon, with regularly scheduled checkpoints and a community of other folks all working on their ideas at the same time. If you’re looking for an excuse to take the plunge and start work on a startup or side pro…

Thanks for your assistance. I was in the last Build Sprint, and while I didn't get as much as I would've liked done, it was fun. A question about Startup School platform itself, since I've never found a support channel: will there or is there a way to delete the companies with which you are associated? I've gone through a couple of projects as "companies", but they've unfortunately not lasted, but I don't seem to be…

You can always email our team for 'support' (or really any questions or feedback about SUS). -- startupschool@ycombinator.com

To answer your question, yes, our team can help you set up a new company profile!

We're not giving out grants after this build sprint. We're going to focus on giving more feedback to founders -- on at least 1,000 applications to YC.

I much prefer this than some cash reward.

Appreciate hearing that! We make decisions based on founder feedback, so I imagine there are other SUS founders who feel the same :)

Thanks for the e-mail! I'd tried support@startupschool.org but the e-mail bounced.

Are you still providing $10K grants to the most promising companies at the end of the sprint, as you did during the last sprint?

incredible. sometimes money is not the problem—founders need advice and guidance more than anything (:

Is that email somewhere on our site? I'd like to take it down if that is confusing other SUS founders!

No it isn't. I could never find an e-mail address on the site (not saying it isn't there, I just could never find it), so I just tried support@startupschool.org, as it's a common e-mail address to have.
