Nice landing page! I suggest adding "overflow:hidden" to your to stop it from scrolling to the right.

Thanks and nice catch! Fixed it!

Note that you can scroll down (white screen) and scroll right (only background) if using Android mobile device, even post recent fix. Still cool, though!

But wait! There's more! 98.css https://jdan.github.io/98.css/ XP.css https://botoxparty.github.io/XP.css/ 7.css https://khang-nd.github.io/7.css/ Each iteration excoriating layers of usability, pragmatism and clarity heading towards absolute cluster fuck of UX/UI we have today!

Wow all these are just amazing. The time and effort - not to mention attention to detail - these individuals have is mind blowing.

But this just gets me wondering. Why can't I find any css framework that emulates like windows 10 UI or the current macOS? Is it just the nostalgia aspect that pushes someone to create something like this? Or people just don't find todays OS's emulate-worthy?

I wonder how different Windows 98 is from Windows 2000...

In terms of looks, afaik 2000 is a bit lighter and possibly shaded red a little—not so grey. Not much else differs externally, though.

You can find the author's responses at this link: https://github.com/nostalgic-css/NES.css/issues/432

So their reason seems to involve some usage of the NES Ness pun, but does that pun work in Japanese? Is there an equivalent shortening of Famicom, and does Ness's Japanese name bare any relation? Pure curiosity, the author can do what they want.

Considering that Earthbound parodied Western cultural stuff, the names probably wouldn't need to be Japan-specific.

Don't forget about Dos! http://kristopolous.github.io/BOOTSTRA.386/

The 8.3 naming is hilarious there.
