Also I find it kind of hilarious how many people who hate Brian Krebs go out of their way to comment on his website. “Free speech” warriors don’t seem to understand freedom to associate or free markets. De-platforming violent extremists works. We should keep doing it. And shame any company willing to work with violent extremists.
Yea anyone we label violent extremists should be completely and utterly deplatformed. Also reported to their employer so they cannot earn money that enables them to commit more violence.

#35The real winner here is Gab. Their platform is extremely well built, and the UI is comparable to (arguably better than) Twitter's. Gab has staying power (completely self hosted with the exception of cloudflare ddos protection) and a lot of user funding.

I used to be very pro-free-speech, but on the other hand, I'm anti-fascism, and I don't know what's worse: Giving fascists a platform to spew hate, or set a precedent for potentially limiting my own speech down the line? It's nowhere near clear-cut, and I'd like to hear some opinions on this.
If fascism is defined as the merger of corporation and state, does a dominant political party allying with major corporations to suppress a political opponent not ring alarm bells for fascism?

My opinion is that you just described Twitter way more than you described Parler, but the narrative is dead set on convincing you otherwise.

Where's that quote from? The article points out they make no mention of any Belize presence, and LACNIC spent several months investigating the tip, which happened in November. That hardly seems reactionary.
