What’s worse, Reddit disables NSFW/porn content in Incognito on iOS Safari and prompts you to install the app. How that got past Apple is beyond me.

This is undoubtedly a positive move, though I do not believe it will be enough to satisfy the likes of the credit card companies.

They are requiring ID verification (i.e. that you're 18 or over) to upload content. As much as I am privacy-minded, the idea that someone could upload an explicit video to Pornhub without verifying that they were 18 is mind-boggling.

This is also a net positive for content producers on Pornhub, who often see their content pirated on the very same platform.

Wouldn't be the worst thing to happen though, would be great to have a reddit alternative that isn't full of expelled extremists.

TEDx is not exactly the same as TED. Just about anyone can organize a TEDx, and lots of cranks give "TEDx talks". There are dozens and dozens of "TEDxes": https://www.ted.com/tedx/events

I understand its not hard to get on the platform. Id just judge it on the content and presentation over the platform banner.

Almost all male friends of mine who had admitted watching porn, are either in a relationship or married. I don’t know if they “went after women”, though; it doesn’t sound like the right way to pursue love.

Some admitted to watching porn even after marriage.

Third-party foundations finding legitimate instances of sexual abuse of children is going to be incredibly rare because how would you ever tell 18 and 17-year-olds apart? Facebook has much more information available to them and they are aggressively checking their platform for it, that's why they find so many instances.
