Europeans LOVE to dictate what other people must do, pointing fingers and change everything to make them feel better about themselves. I'm from Brazil, ex-colony of Portugal, and studied that in History for almost a decade. It's funny when I read their newspaper explaining what brazilians must do with our forests.
