I don't get this. There's a reason why they make AstroTurf green. If you're Amazon and you're trying to generate realistic good buzz about your work conditions don't name the accounts "AmazonDrone643278" or similar.

This may also stem from some union-busting messaging. One of the talking points that you see on anti-union posters and in videos is "unions get in the way of you talking to your manager, when you can talk to your manager directly you can address concerns straightaway with them." This reminds me of that.

But unions literally are (within the law) whatever their members decide they will be, so if you expect that of your potential union, it just means you expect it of your coworkers.

It’s astonishing people are so confident these are bots. No real evidence of that and it’s more likely they’re real. Occam’s razor.
The evidence came a bit further down with one commenter posting a picture of one being male in one post and female in another.

They're people (one person?) following a corporate script, but they're clearly not literally chatbots. Chatbots aren't even this coherent.
Maybe not the ones you're used to but Amazon is a tech company at heart. They have the resources to improve on the algorithms. I'd love to meet the engineer responsible for this.
