Opposition because of hate of something you somewhat understand/misunderstand is bigotry. I'd vote NO to "Should we learn Martian Numerals", because I do not know what martian numerals are, not because I hate martians
Voting no because you don't understand something is expressing hate for things that you don't understand. The unbigoted answer would be "I don't know/No opinion".
