The last time I looked at PagerDuty (a while ago) it didn't have any kind of "calling tree" equivalent for validated notification escalations. Couldn't really see how that could be true, so I'm assuming I didn't understand the product.
They have a configuration tab for "business services", where you can set up dependencies between services, but we're not using that, so idk how smart is that.
