This is very good advice to keep in mind, but it's not Tesla's fault if the credit reporting agencies are terrible.

Were you denied a loan from the same institution that issued the first one? I can't imagine a credit union turning down the same customer they just approved because 'computer says no.' The first loaner confirmed they couldn’t even process a new loan while the old one was in limbo. They even put my case in for special review and apparently part of the wait was ensuring the check wasn’t being used. I even tried going with a different finance company to secure the exact car I wanted (it was an excellent offer I had driven the dealer to) and they came back with a flat no.

I'd rather use my own cellphone plan & wifi than pay for that kind of stuff indirectly.
In Canada, after tax, the most basic model with no options is almost $60,000 CAD. With all wheel drive, sport wheels, and no other options (no autopilot options at all) it is basically $78,000 CAD after tax. I can get a LOT of car for that price elsewhere. Yikes.

It's cheap in NorCal - my friend had a Model 3 delivered by a dude. Literally. A dude drove his car to his house and then called Uber. P.S. by "dude" I meant that the man just drove the car to the owner's place from their Fremont factory (30 min).
