Yay for an ethics component! Albeit, I have a strong feeling it'll be treated as a (for lack of a better term) BS class since the audience this caters to isn't necessarily those interested in academia but are more likely to do this track b/c it'll be more beneficial for jobs.
I had an ethics class for my Bachelors in Science at UIC (part of the engineering department). Is an Ethics class not standard for the CS curriculum?
Such is its proper place, unless and until CS becomes a profession.
