You're pretty sniffy about the effects of long term pain which can be debilitating, even life threatening. Some people who die by suicide were in long term pain. Obviously I think long term pain should be taken seriously but I would prefer people used existing scientifically backed treatments instead of promoting pseudoscience which definitively does lead to deaths (e.g. see the anti vaccination movement).
