Take care of your health while doing all that you do and you'll get back to doing the other things that you miss doing or would love to do. Life tends to have responsibilities whether you have kids or not.
Having kids is a life changing experience for sure but you can definitely "skill up" and do a lot of other things after you've had kids. Not a problem.
