Well, it is not surprising why Thiel supports Trump: SELF INTEREST. It _has_ to be. Thiel seems like a remarkably smart guy who would never fall for the fool BS coming out "The Donald's" mouth. I don't even think we're that rare. The more left leaning folks around here are just _really_ left though, so staying quiet makes more sense most of the time.

There's a certain conservative mentality that delights in being more-reactionary-than-thou.
