I consider them to be a grave threat to the traditional American freedoms of speech, free exercise of religion, the press, association, peaceful assembly, bearing arms, privacy, and due process. They are replacing all of these with the freedom to retaliate for being offended or threatened by proxy. That is, as long as a SJW can conceive the possibility of a person that could have been threatened or offended by you, they feel they are entitled to react as though those people actually exist, but are too afraid to self-identify and respond for themselves.
And speaking of dog-whistles, the SJWs have an annoying habit of using "check your privilege" as an ad hominem distraction, to derail anyone that may be threatening to a groupthink narrative. They are also big users of "no true Scotsman".
