Such an awesome idea - I love tons of indie bands that deserve to survive and carry on making music.

So cool to have a way to support the majority of musicians that just aren't making any money with the current system. With streaming the top 1% of artists get most of the pie...

There was a problem with tip4commit where people could send money to people without first getting their permission and potentially causing them trouble:

At a first glance at the FAQ this looks similar:

Has this been taken into consideration? Am I wrong at drawing the comparison?

From the FAQ:

> No! You can tip any band, artist or individual in the world, no matter whether they are registered on Huzza or not. Once tipped, it's our job to get them signed up and transfer the tip to them.

Taking money in someone else's name without them agreeing to it always leaves a bad taste with me... Especially if they claim "Tips go directly to musicians."

Hey afandian, It's a similar concept, although tip4commit was causing issues with gaming/controller what gets works on, where as Huzza is for tipping songs and musicians that already exist, so we don't see the same problem happening.
