#2Disclaimer: I am a random internet person, my advice is best taken with a grain of salt and a second opinion.
Why not create a "beta" program, and let them enroll in it for a fee (like half the price), and tout the fact that they will be allowed to give feedback that will affect the product?
I think that's a good way to do three things:
1. manage expectations (they shouldn't be expecting a full product if it's not done yet)
2. get revenue
3. help build your product into something they will want to use (and pay full price for)
