Perhaps because Israel is now universally despised and these abusive intelligence operations are subjects of interest in their own right, but really any kind of excessively minor black eye to Israeli abuse is now interesting as well.
If Israel weren’t currently in pause mode of this generation’s largest genocide or actively executing a violent ethnic cleansing on their other border I suspect nobody would care. Israeli intelligence operations are still child’s play compared to the powerful nations, for example.
