My dad taught me, when you borrow something always return it in better condition than you received it. I thought everyone did this sort of thing until I lived in the “real world” and found it more common to neglect! As I grew older I realized this should apply to everything, even the environment.

My dad taught me "do what you say you're going to do," and I had the same experience with the real world.

The lesson has served me well.

Reminder: some fathers suck. Days like today are really hard for those of use who had shitty fathers.

My father is a worthless piece of human alcoholic trash who failed me in every imaginable way a father could fail his son. I haven't spoken to him in over ten years, and when he dies I will not be at the funeral.

One in three Americans is like me. Stop shoving your happy childhood in our faces, we hate it.
