#2A ton of hedge words. Example: "You probably wanna consider looking at that book" instead of "Take a look at that book". There's also some pseudo-math language I love such as "It's orthogonal to the point I made earlier modulo the given event".
At least that's how HNers used to talk years ago. I dont look at comments anymore.
