It's not. Theres been 'live reunion' for Love is Blind, and theres a chef guy that has a 'fully live' show.
I agree the engineer comment is not phrased well but the main point I think is: clearly someone(s) at NFLX screwed up.

That’s odd because the commentators said it was. Maybe first live sports event?
Either way, you’re right. They’ve done several live events.
