Re: undefined
#2Anyway, a few weeks after I got laid off I decided to learn web development. Working for a CTO and supporting other engineers made me curious about their work, those people were really interesting. So I set a self-studying guide, and by May I was accepted to a good (imo) bootcamp.
In the bootcamp we are suppose to work on personal projects during spare time, I decided to code a google maps app that allows you to clink on certain areas and get info about that particular area, something simple. Soon I realised that getting coordinates for polygons vertex by vertex in a whole city would take longer than my adult life, worse yet, I could not find tools online to help me do that.
But that's when the magic happened, instead, I coded a tool to make my life easier and retrieve the coordinates. Being able to make a tool to overcome challenges or facilitate goals feels like nothing else. The app is quite simple, but I honestly haven't felt that happy in many years (I am 29 if you wondered). I think I will chase this feeling for a long time to come now.
ps - A friend said I should post here, I hope you like my app (:
